Fall Events Near Treeside RV Resort and New Braunfels

Wondering what to do around Treeside Resort this fall season? Our location is fantastic because we are near many communities that are gearing up for the 2021 holidays with all kinds of fun events. We have rounded up some of the best events and festivals in the nearby area throughout October and November.

 

Happy Fall Y’All. Every weekend in October, we celebrate one of the most beautiful times of year here in San Antonio. At Natural Bridges Caverns, explore amazing attractions, or just sit back and get together with friends while enjoying a selection of imported and domestic wine and beer in wide-open spaces. Take in Texas Hill Country scenery, with special events happening every weekend. Some special Halloween activities are on tap for the last weekend in October, along with live music, animal shows, and more. Discover lots of FREE things to do, such as a mini-hay maze for the kiddos, live performances from local musicians, yard games, and so much more. On Halloween Weekend there will be trick-or-treating in the park from 3-5 pm, and face painting is available for purchase.

 

Float In. Visit a stellar pumpkin patch on the Comal River in New Braunfels through October 31st. Float In Pumpkin Patch is fun for all ages – bring your entire brood to help up celebrate the fall season. For starters, you can pick your own pumpkin to turn in to your very own Jack-o-Lantern, take part in fun yard games, indulge in some sweet treats, and take advantage of the many photo ops for memories of your time here. On weekends, join us for Breakfast on the Banks.

 

Dia De Los Muertos Festival. On October 23rd, join the New Braunfel’s Chamber of Commerce in helping to celebrate local Hispanic culture with this FREE community festival. Dia de los Muertos is observed to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have departed. Thousands come out to celebrate every year atthis wonderful cultural heritage festival donning painted faces. All proceeds from the festival go to benefit the Chamber’s Hispanic Business Alliance. They award small business grants and scholarships to local community members.

Wurstfest. Sprechen sie fun? From November 5-14th, come and enjoy the ten best days in sausage history! It is a unique annual celebration rich in German culture and loaded with Texas-style fun!! Come out to the gorgeous headwaters of the Comal River in New Braunfels and get ready for some good food, exciting carnival rides, music and dancing. To go along with the scrumptious sausage, there will be German and domestic beer on tap, with some great local Texan brews thrown into the mix. Special events are happening in the finest Bavarian and Alpine style entertainment.

 

Weihnachtsmarkt. Christmas comes early in New Braunfels from November 19-21st in this Christmas market. Delightfully brimming with German charm, it is a tradition in this town that local and visitors alike have been enjoying for years. Shop over 60 vendors and artisans offering unique German ornaments and other holiday decorations, collectibles, clothing, jewelry, and gifts. Bring a friend, or your entire crew. The 3-day market supports history education and preservation through the Sophienburg Museum and Archives.
